Meet your League Manager
Natasha Coats
|
Meet Natasha Coats, the ultimate golf enthusiast who’s been soaking up the Florida sunshine since 2008!
Hailing from the UK, she made the big move with her husband and son, Jack, and let’s say, the golf scene here got a whole lot brighter!
She picked up golf in 2011 when Jack started school, and boy, did she fall in love with the game of golf. After a few years in Michigan, she couldn’t resist the call of the Sunshine State. With two incredible hole-in-ones under her belt and a resume that boasts rounds at Pebble Beach and TPC Sawgrass, she’s not just a golfer; she’s a ‘bucket list’ golfer! Plus, she’s shared her skills coaching with the First Tee of Greater Detroit and Veteran programs—talk about inspiring!
Since joining our Chapter, Natasha has exemplified an unwavering enthusiasm and a remarkable commitment to active participation and collaboration, making her an invaluable chapter member.
When the opportunity to take on the role of League Manager presented itself, Natasha embraced the challenge showcasing her readiness to lead and inspire others. With great excitement and pride, we extend a round of applause and a warm welcome to Natasha as our new Winter League Manager, confident that she will bring her unique vision and dedication to this important role, guiding us all toward a successful and vibrant season ahead.

Many of you are already familiar with Ashleigh's captivating presence on television, but there is so much more to her than what meets the eye. Beyond the screen lies a gifted storyteller and artist whose passion and dedication shine brightly.
Our Chapter first connected with Ashleigh through a simple email, and ever since, she has embraced our narrative with enthusiasm and vigor. You might have met Ashleigh at one of our Pink Ball events , where she stepped out of her role as a guest and stepped in to be our Emcee in a pinch.
During the unprecedented times of Covid, when the popularity of golf surged, Ashleigh became an invaluable friend to the LPGA Amateurs Palm Beach Chapter, spotlighting our love of the game and the connections we needed in a very isolated time.
Ashleigh’s journalism career as a television news anchor and reporter is studded with prestigious Edward R. Murrow and Emmy Awards among other industry accolades. Considered a standout in innovation and creativity, she was also coined the “newsroom’s moral compass” by one boss. She has loved to golf since childhood, she’ll keep working on her game. Ashleigh is also an artist who most often focuses on still life and landscape paintings in acrylic. You can view her work at www.ashleighwalters.net
We are absolutely thrilled to share the wonderful news that she will be generously volunteering her time to help us raise funds for our cherished beneficiaries, LPGA *USGA Girls Golf. Her commitment and support will undoubtedly make a significant impact, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this inspiring partnership!

Wayside House
Rebuild. Reconnect. Recover
|
Chapter member Kathryn Leonard recently participated in the Wayside House 50th anniversary celebration, aptly titled An Evening of Reflection. The event honored the remarkable heroes associated with the organization.
The event was a moving tribute featuring inspiring stories that highlighted the profound impact of Wayside House, which has been a beacon of hope for women battling alcohol and drug addiction since its establishment in 1974.
Throughout the year, numerous Palm Beach County Chapter members contribute their support by attending golf tournaments organized to benefit Wayside House.
Kathryn's dedication to this cause is noteworthy. She has been actively involved for over thirty years, with the last 14 years spent on the board, including five years as its President. Her longstanding commitment exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and support that defines Wayside House's mission.

Thursday Golf @ Atlantic National
Oh, what a scene we have here! As the wind swirls around and challenges the day, Cynthia Coster and Penny Petroff are throwing down some hilarious banter as a prelude to the sweet chance to claim bragging rights in the showdown of Fairways minus Putts!
The competition is fierce, with witty comebacks flying left and right, but hold up—Natasha Coats and Bonnie Montal are stealing the show, racking up points like pros and leaving their pals in a playful, slightly jealous haze!
Until next week's game, Natasha and Bonnie are basking in the glory of their well-earned bragging rights.

Kathy Beard
Many of you are already familiar with Kathy, who serves not only as a dedicated member of the Palm Beach County Chapter but has also recently assumed the role of President of the LPGA Amateurs of Ft. Lauderdale Chapter.
Next weekend, Kathy is participating in a 60-mile walk in the critical fight against breast cancer. This cause deeply resonates with her due to the profound impact this illness has on countless women and in her circle of friends.
Kathy's compassion for those affected by breast cancer fuels her efforts to raise both awareness and funds for this vital cause.
Earlier this month, she had a productive meeting with Joyce Belfour, during which they brainstormed innovative ideas for enhancing inter-league golf outings and cross-chapter events. This initiative aims to provide our members with greater opportunities to engage in the sport, connect with fellow women golfers, and foster the spirit of camaraderie and mutual support that defines our community.

More Important Information
Why amy I not getting email notifications? Why are they suppressed?
A few members have reported that they are not receiving the emails from Golf Genius, so we wanted to share this information on how this may occur:
- When dealing with mass emails, the restrictions from the recipient's email provider become more strict.
- Due to this, some email addresses get flagged and placed on the suppression list.
-
We recommend that you add noreply@golfgenius.com to your safe sender or contact list. This will help prevent suppressions from occurring in the future.
