Plant. . .the Good News
Greetings!

A quick search of the internet revealed that the number one purpose a logo serves is to give a business, organization, group, team, etc., an identity.

For those who have been following the work of Fit-2-Serve over the years, the logo is always present. Our identity has always been centered in Christ and on the Good News. Bill always loved sharing the significance of the logo, and we are able to share his words with you from emails he had written to team members.

Grow. . . Amazing Grace
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – and how well I know it.” Psalm 139:13-14 (NLT)
Previously, I shared that the open end of the boat, the boat of Grace depicts AMAZING GRACE extended by our loving Father to all 7.7 billion of the world's population. Around the age of 27, I came to know and understand that His grace was bestowed to me as well. Even with that knowledge, navigating the storms of life can still be challenging.

Thank God, spiritually, physically and intellectually I am Fit.
Love. . . We are FIT
Though the world may try to convince us otherwise, the truth is, WE ARE FIT! We were justified by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; and we continue to realize that blessing as God sustains our life by faith.

A friend of mine shared with me the Message translation of Romans 5:1-2, which reads...

"By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise."
The 'i' in Fit is 'tied to' the cross, which is the place where Our Father planned to save us from our sins through the sinless life, death on the cross, and resurrection of His Son. When God looks at me ('i'), He sees the work of Salvation that His Son completed.
For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
From the age 18-24 , my identity was tied to my physical fitness. I had an exercise addiction and ran several marathons, triathlons, & road races. It was a false identity centered in my physical fitness.

Fast forward to today. God has led me to the truth found in His Word. My identity now rests in Christ and Christ alone.

So many are struggling to find their IDENTITY. It does not come from our resources, jobs, friends, church, etc.. It comes from Christ; Christ alone.
