School Services of Montana, in collaboration with the OPI, is developing a TOOLKIT to support teachers’ and schools’ educational and financial needs for Cultural Student Exchanges - supplied through grants and workshops. OUR GOAL is to empower schools to facilitate and build personal, educational, and cultural relationships through intentional exchanges between individuals & educational communities from tribal and off-reservation schools, or between differing cultural or tribal schools.

The Science Math Resource Center has received a planning grant from the National Science Foundation in order to write a full proposal that would help us build a cohort of STEM teacher-leaders in Montana.

Participating teachers receive a $5,000 stipend and a $2,000 materials budget. Applications are due June 25, 2023. Watch the information webinar on May 1 from 4 - 5:30 PM.
