CPP was contacted earlier today by Coastline Equipment in Bakersfield about the theft of a GPS enabled John Deere 210 Backhoe that was stolen from their customer overnight.
CPP reached out to our contacts with the KERNCATT team in Kern County for assistance.
The unit's GPS was reporting, but when Investigators and the victim arrived on scene, it had already been removed. Fortunately, the thieves parked it to cool only a short distance away where it was discovered and recovered.

While KERNCATT Investigators were checking out the reported theft they found more equipment including two tractor trailers, a Case forklift and a John Deere 310 Backhoe that had been stolen from another Coastline customer a few weeks ago.
