15th Annual Reston Sprint Triathlon has re-opened registration
Due to the lifting of COVID restrictions, RST has re-opened registration for the in-person event on August 15th! Please let your friends and family know that if they missed registration back in January, they now have another opportunity to participate.

Reston Association Announces Pool Passes for RST

This year, RA is offering pool passes to Reston Sprint Tri registrants with two weeks of swim privileges beginning Aug 2nd. The cost will be $40 and the passes will go on sale soon.

This Try the Tri swim segment opportunity will be kicked off with an in-person RST Meetup at Lake Newport Pool on Aug 2nd, 6-8 pm. Three lanes will be reserved for the exclusive use of RST registrants.

There's no fee / no pass required to Try the Tri swim on Aug 2nd from 6 to 8 pm.

RST Run Segment and Course Review

Joe O'Gorman, RST Board member, triathlon coach, and 13 time RST finisher, discussed the RST run course.

Laura Kowalski, Director of Recreation for Reston Association provided important updates for RST participants regarding both virtual and in-person events.
Mike Scheurer, USAT official and 10 time RST finisher presented USAT rules and regulations.

Taralyn Kohler, Exec. Director for CORE Foundation, USAT Race Director, and RST Athlete, discussed the virtual RST and how that event can help you train for the in-person event.

RST Volunteer time qualifies for student service hours and employer grants.
