Meet RYASAP's Newest Initiative:
Park City Career Pathways
Earlier this year, RYASAP was thrilled to be tapped to lead a new action research initiative from the MDRC that seeks to connect recent high school students in Bridgeport to career pathways and post-secondary education. (Read the announcement here.)

The Park City Career Pathways Initiative will work with Bridgeport “recession” graduates and non-graduates from the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years who are not actively engaged in post-secondary education or a career pathway.

All summer long we've been working to meet with recent Bridgeport students. Stay up to date with this initiative by following Park City Career Pathways (PCCP) on Facebook 👇
Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition (BCAC):
2020 State of the Child
This summer, the Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition (BCAC) released Part 1 of the 35th annual State of the Child report. Much like everything else in the world, the State of the Child (SOTC) looks a little different this year.

The 35th State of the Child lives wholly online as a growing document uplifting findings, stories, and visualized data across several key indicators. To begin, the report focuses on Civic Engagement and the November 2020 Presidential Election and ends with a number of actions, including voting registration and bills to take action on.

If you haven't yet, check out the interactive State of the Child and check back often -- new sections will be released soon.
