3Qs: Scott Stanger wants to Optimiiize your fitness
Scott Stanger (right) is a certified RMT and the founder of Optimiiize, a holistic fitness, nutrition and therapy business that recently opened in Kelowna. We put our three questions to him.

What is something you wish you knew when you first began?
When I first decided to open a business I wish that I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. Starting a business takes a lot of time, and requires a lot of sacrifice. It has been a challenging journey, but I am someone who loves a challenge. Ultimately, it has been a very rewarding experience.

What is something people might not know about Optimiiize?
We provide a unique personalized fitness experience that is convenient and affordable. Each of our members receives their own personalized fitness program, based on their goals and a free initial movement assessment. Members can book a training session anytime throughout day, during which they will work with a qualified and experienced trainer, in a small group setting of a maximum 3 people. In short, we offer the same quality service of personal training, but at a much more affordable cost.

What are your plans for the future?
We are looking forward to sharing our great service with more residents of Kelowna. We are also wanting to get involved within the local community, and give back to Kelowna in whatever way that we can.

Kelowna Chamber keeps on rolling...
We're always powering ahead here at the Chamber, and our recent annual summer staff outing was no different.

Thanks to Amanda and Smile Cycle Tours for a great time! It wasn't easy moving that big bike, but fortunately our friends at Sandhill Winery, BC Tree Fruits and Tree Brewing Co. had our backs with the energy boosts. All in all an excellent time and highly recommended for your next team building exercise!
