Montgomery County GOP Passes Resolutions Calling for Election Reforms and Texas Veterans Month
At the September 5 County Executive Committee (CEC) meeting, the Montgomery County Republican Party passed resolutions calling for hand count reforms to the Texas Election Code and a resolution to proclaim November as Texas Veterans Month.

The hand count resolution petitions Governor Abbott "to make public trust in Texas elections a number one priority by calling for a special session of the Texas Legislature to make common sense reforms which are urgently needed to secure Texas elections and restore confidence in our election system."

The CEC also passed a resolution encouraging the Texas Legislature, Montgomery County Commissioner’s Court, and county school districts to honor the selfless service and sacrifice of America’s military veterans, including Texas’s more than 1.4 million living veterans, by recognizing November as Veterans Month.

Charles Shirley serves as MCHD Director for Commissioner Precinct 3 and has been in office since January. AG Paxton Cleared of Sham Impeachment Charges
During his time in office, Texas Attorney General Paxton has become a political force beyond the borders of the Lone Star State. He has prevailed in 77 percent of the cases that he has brought against the federal government. As you may recall, AG Paxton was leading the charge to audit the election results after the 2020 Presidential Election, which saw Joe Biden take the lead in the dead of night and then somehow amass an impossible 81 million votes to get installed into the White House. So naturally, he is viewed as a significant threat to the Uniparty in D.C.

It was certainly no surprise that the RINO establishment joined forces with the Democrats to go after AG Paxton, but what surprised many was the number of Republican House Members who followed Speaker Phelan over the cliff.
State Party Calls for Speaker Phelan to Resign Before Upcoming Special Session
The State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) voted 58-2 yesterday on a resolution calling for Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan to resign before the upcoming legislative special session.

The resolution cites Speaker Phelan’s pressure on House members to vote for the impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton despite the weakness of the case, as well as his appointment of Democrat committee chairs and undermining of GOP Legislative Priorities during the Texas 88th Legislative Session.

The Montgomery County Republican Party passed two resolutions on August 14, calling for the immediate resignation of Speaker Phelan and joining in the censure of Speaker Phelan by the Orange County Executive Committee. Orange County is the largest county in Speaker Phelan’s home district.
RINO/Uniparty vs. Conservative Comparison
In light of the recent sham impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton, led by Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, Republican voters need to understand that not everyone who claims to be a Republican is actually a Republican. The RINO/Uniparty hides behind the Republican brand, but they are much more concerned with consolidating power and influence rather than protecting our liberty and keeping Texas "Red." Click to view a comparison of how this plays out locally in the Texas Republican Party.
State Party Votes to Affiliate With Young Republicans of TX
The State Party voted yesterday to affiliate with the Young Republicans of Texas, who pledged to “fight for conservative policy priorities and emphasize Young Republican growth and engagement statewide.”
