Crude Oil Stinks for Stingrays
Researchers in the College of Science are the first to quantify the physiological effects of whole crude oil on the sense of smell among the Atlantic stingrays. Results of a study, recently published in Scientific Reports, confirm that exposure to crude oil, could detrimentally impact fitness, lead to premature death and other issues.  READ MORE.

Helping Veterans Health
Veterans, community members and FAU faculty, staff, and students recently gathered at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing to learn about the findings of the Veterans' Action League, a program aimed, in part, at giving veterans an active voice in patient-centered outcomes research.
