Honors College Student Presents Research Nationally
Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College anthropology student Sara Czoka, left, presented her research ,Virtually a Criminal: A Visual Ethnography of the Urban Criminal Underground in Grand Theft Auto Five , at the  2018 American Anthropological Association conference in San Jose, Calif.
Lecturing at Harvard and MIT
John L. Renne, Ph.D., left, Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions, recently lectured at the Harvard Kennedy School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, about "Transit Oriented Development, the Housing Market and the Privatization of Transportation."

Renne also recently announced an Online Interactive Planning Tool , a new project with the South Florida Regional Planning Council, and the inaugural FAU Partnership for Sustainable Communities .
Somaesthetics Center Partners with FAU
Richard Shusterman, Ph.D., left, and Ken Holloway, Ph.D., both of the College of Arts and Letters , spoke at a conference at East China Normal University. The university has set up a somaesthetics center to partner with FAU, inspired by FAU's somaesthetics research, and based on the Center for Body, Mind, and Culture at FAU, where Shusterman and Holloway are director and associate director, respectively.
