Lifestyle Changes Used to Fight Alzheimer's Disease

James E. Galvin, M.D., M.P.H, of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, was recently highlighted in two publications related to his work in connecting changing lifestyle with progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Accolades for Recent CUES Report 
FAU’s Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions (CUES) in the College for Design and Social Inquiry, won first place for a SunSational Award for Best Print Media Piece for a c omprehensive metrics research report on Downtown West Palm Beach. The report, developed to track progress and expansion in the area over time, compared Downtown West Palm Beach to 46 other downtowns with less than 100,000 jobs across the nation. Findings from the research show that Downtown West Palm Beach ranked high for intensity (density of jobs + residents), walking and commuting by bicycle. READ MORE .
