Do you have a welcoming spirit? Passion for connection? Consider serving on the Welcome and Fellowship Committee
It has felt so good to come back to church and experience the many ways that love is gathering. Visitors are finding us each week, and we want to be an inviting, welcoming, and nurturing congregation.

We are forming a new Committee to focus on welcoming and engaging new members and sharing fellowship for all. Would you like to join us? Does this sound like a calling for you? Please contact vestry member Jan Thomas at thomaj36@gmail.com if you would like to hear more.
Use your hands for good! We volunteer at Shalom Farms 2 days each every month.
The mission of Shalom Farms is to work with communities to ensure access to healthy food and the support to live healthy lives. Through sustainable food production and hands-on experiences at the farm and in the city, Shalom Farms provides thousands in Richmond with access to healthy food…and healthy lives.

Christ Church is committed to serving one Tuesday and one Saturday each month. On Saturdays, we join our friends from West End Islamic Center, so it's an opportunity to provide food for those in need, and extend a hand of hospitality to our Muslim neighbors.

Sundays at 9 AM: Stories, Music, and Fun for families with "Church on the Playground"
Sundays at 9 AM | CCE Playground
Families with young children can gather on the playground at 9 AM on Sunday mornings. Bible stories, music, and activities will keep little bodies engaged and growing with God. Grownups can chat, kiddos can play, and everyone can gather in the spirit of holiness. Families are welcome to come and go as needed from the sanctuary to the playground. The worship service will be streamed to an outdoor speaker so you can listen to the indoor service, too, and Holy Communion will be served on the playground. Additionally, the Family Room (on the left side as you enter the sanctuary) will be open for diaper changes, nursing, rocking, etc.

In the event of rain or high temps, the group may move into the Garage Building.Contact Adam Williams for updates!
