The ongoing primary election ending on March 5th holds significant importance for the future of the San Francisco Republican Party. As a Republican resident of San Francisco, your vote plays a pivotal role in electing members to the Republican Central Committee, with 12 representatives for Assembly District 17 and 13 representatives for Assembly District 19, each serving a four-year term.

It's essential to be informed about the candidates vying for these positions. We strongly advise against supporting any candidates affiliated with the Briones Society, an organization seeking to dilute conservative values in favor of appeasing Democrats. Additionally, we urge you not to vote to retain Chairman Dennis, as his leadership has proven detrimental to the goals of the SFGOP. (Watch the video below.)

Instead, we recommend endorsing candidates who have consistently demonstrated integrity and advocated for genuine conservative principles in recent years.

Vote ONLY for:

Assembly District 17

Leslie Huang

Manuel Noris-Berrera

Larry Marso

Colton Weeks

Assembly District 19

Edward Bate

Yvette Corkrean

Howard Epstein

The Briones Society Threatens GOP Core Principles

Despite the impressive campaign materials and rhetoric from candidates associated with the Briones Society, it's crucial to look beyond surface-level appeals. The Briones Society's agenda to shift the GOP to the left runs counter to core Republican values.

From their website, these statements have been temporarily removed during elections:

"The Briones Society calls on the Republican party to uphold bedrock constitutional principles by disavowing the lie that the 2020 election result was fraudulent."

It also goes on to say that January 6, 2021 was an insurrection.

"RESOLVED, that the Briones Society condemns former president Donald J. Trump for his role in advancing the lie that the 2020 presidential-election was fraudulent as well as for his role in instigating the attack at the Capitol om January 6th, 2021.

Notably, Martha Conte, a District 19 candidate, has contributed $16.000 to the Briones Society and displayed a BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT sign in her yard during the previous election cycle. Similarly, Bill Jackson, a District 19 incumbent candidate and one of the founders of the Briones Society, withheld support from the SFGOP during his time as head of fundraising. He disavowed President Trump, called the events of January 6th an insurrection, and denied any voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Furthermore, the involvement of individuals like Trammell Crow Jr., facing serious legal allegations of child sex trafficking, raises questions about the integrity and motives behind his $6,000 donation the Briones Society. See Trammell Crow Jr.

The infiltration of left-leaning Republicans, exemplified by the Briones Society, poses a substantial threat to the core principles of the SFGOP. Their well-funded efforts, backed by donations from Democratic sources and anti-Trump Republicans, aim to shift the party's stance towards the left.

Replace Chairman John Dennis

Chairman Dennis's leadership has been marred by controversy and division within the SFGOP. His actions, including legal threats and financial malfeasance, have caused significant harm to the organization. It's imperative to hold him accountable and elect leaders committed to honesty and transparency.

During the October 2022 monthly meeting Chairman Dennis wielded threats of lawsuits to intimidate Committee members.

We encourage you to view footage from this meeting, wherein Dennis acknowledges appropriating thousands of dollars in donor funds without proper authorization. Ask yourself whether such leadership aligns with the principles and integrity the SFGOP requires.

Chairman John Dennis has unequivocally forfeited any legitimacy to lead the SFGOP. His actions, characterized by threats against the SF County Central Committee and deliberate deception of delegates and SF Republicans, stand as stark evidence of his unsuitability for leadership. Collaborating with the former Treasurer, who resigned, Dennis bypassed spending approval protocols outlined in the SFGOP bylaws. He exerted undue pressure on Committee members, manipulating them in a bid to evade settling personal legal debts stemming from a contentious legal battle with his Republican congressional opponent.

Under Chairman Dennis's tenure, the SFGOP endured years of turmoil and upheaval. Moreover, he brazenly targeted for removal Committee members who dared to hold him accountable for his unethical conduct. It is imperative that we collectively demand accountability for the calamitous outcomes of his leadership by refusing to endorse him as a representative for Assembly District 19 Republicans.

Also, beware of John Dennis's own slate of candidates, mostly incumbents who believe they can win a seat by their association with the current Chairman. You may have received emails or mailers from Citizens for a Better San Francisco. You should give extra scrutiny to anyone on that slate.

This election holds immense significance for the future direction of the San Francisco Republican Party. We urge you to vote thoughtfully, prioritizing candidates who uphold conservative values and reject attempts to undermine the party's principles from within.
