Dr. Amanda Jansen is a professor in the mathematics education program at the University of Delaware and the author of Rough Draft Math: Revising to Learn. Mandy was a middle grades mathematics teacher before becoming a professor, and she earned her PhD in educational psychology at Michigan State University. She is committed to honoring students’ voices and promoting equity through motivation and engagement.

School Services of Montana, in collaboration with the OPI, is developing a TOOLKIT to support teachers’ and schools’ educational & financial needs for Cultural Student Exchanges (supplied through grants and workshops). Mental Health America challenges us to examine our world and how it can affect our overall health. Look around, look within – from your neighborhood to genetics, many factors come into play when it comes to your mental health. Their 2023 Mental Health Month toolkit includes information about how an individual’s environment impacts their mental health, suggestions for making changes to improve and maintain mental well-being, and how to seek help for mental health challenges.

In addition to the Toolkit download, this site includes: outreach ideas, learning more about mental health, getting involved, an online mental health screening, and more.
