Between June 9-15, Bike Week is gearing up to host a variety of cycling activities, calling on everyone to dust off their saddles and participate. Anticipate beloved annual events such as Bike to Work Day presented by CAA and our Family Fun Wrap Party, alongside engaging group rides, cycling education and more through the week.

Bike to Work Day is on a TUESDAY. So if you work from home on Monday's there's no need to miss it!

LOOKING TO HOST AN EVENT DURING BIKE WEEK?

It could be a discount on your services for cyclists, a workshop, a bike themed party, a group bike ride...pedal-powered possibilities are endless!

You run the event, and we will include it in our event calendar and encourage the Bike Week network of over 7500 Winnipeggers to check you out.

BIKE BUS MARSHAL TRAINING  

Thinking of running a bike bus at your school? Wanting to do a field trip by bike? Come out to Bike Winnipeg’s Ride Marshal Training for Schools program and make sure you know how to keep your students safe on the paths and streets. Open to teachers, school staff, and family volunteers, this training is specifically aimed at organizing safe group rides for children. It will start with some classroom learning before hitting the road to practice new skills, so bring a road-ready bicycle, tricycle, or other pedal powered (electric or acoustic) cycle.

Where: Starting and ending at the West End Cultural Centre, 586 Ellice St.

Bikes can be parked inside.

BIKE WINNIPEG’S AGM, APRIL 16

Bike Winnipeg will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024, and they are hoping that you can attend. Find out more about their activities in 2023 and learn about their plans for 2024.

When: Tuesday, April 16, 2024 – 7 PM (Doors open at 6:30 PM)

Whether you're a beginner or looking to advance your skills, we have something for everyone.

Get empowered with our bike repair workshops, taught by experienced mechanics. Learn the basics of bike maintenance, from tire changes to brake adjustments, all the way to complete tear downs and rebuilds, keep your ride in top-notch condition.

Adults - 6 week, hands on.
