Recently, we had the privilege of serving at Hermana Lulu’s free daycare, where she provides a safe and loving environment for children while their families work in the fields. Lulu offers before- and after-school care, ensuring the kids have breakfast and are well-cared for—all while sharing God’s love with them. During the summer, she goes even further, offering all-day childcare, Vacation Bible School, church on Sundays, and so much more. She is truly one of the best examples I’ve seen of loving your neighbor and doing it well.

Last month, we had the honor of bringing a day group to serve the children at Lulu’s. The group had a wonderful time playing with the kids, decorating beautiful wooden cars, handing out Christmas gifts, and sharing a pizza and spaghetti lunch with the children of this humble farming community. A special thank you to Tina, her family, and her group for making this day so memorable. We look forward to serving alongside you again in the future!

What better way to give thanks than by spending your Thanksgiving serving together as a family? We were so grateful to have a family join us this year in the hills of Paraíso, where they spent the day sharing love and kindness with those in need.

Together, we had the privilege of going door-to-door, delivering Blessing Bags filled with food (known locally as dispensa), praying with families, and even sharing a meal in one of their homes.

At Blessing Bags International, we love bringing families and individuals to serve in the hills in this farming community. The families we serve, despite having so little, they have something so much better than earthly possessions they have joy! For those who serve with us, it is an opportunity to experience the beauty of service and create memories that last a lifetime.

We’re excited to share that this past spring and summer, we began preparing the BBI property for our future mission center in the hills of Paraíso!

This mission center will be a hub for our outreach… a welcoming space where families can come together to serve, grow, and make an even greater impact. It will also serve as a launching point for service projects that transform lives and bring hope to the community.
