Facebook Post turned WEAU Interview

What started out as a donation and a great idea suddenly went "viral" on Facebook, peaking the interest of Eau Claire news station, WEAU. Check out the story above about the forthcoming collaboration between American Edge Realty and Stepping Stones and addressing food insecurity in a creative way.

Meet Autumn!

Autumn Metoxen joins us as our new Community Connections Manager! She is a UWEC Social Work graduate, with a minor in psychology. Her work experience includes working with the homeless as the on-site coordinator at Community Haven House and an internship with the EC County Department of Human Services.

If she's not at work, she's most likely eating woodfired pizza and hanging out with her cat, Shrimp. Welcome to Stepping Stones, Autumn!

Feed My People Tour

The Stepping Stones pantry team along with some of the admin staff traveled to Eau Claire for a tour of Feed My People Food Bank. Feed My People distributes more than 7 million pounds of food annually, and has 252 hunger-relief programs, Stepping Stones included.

Thanks to Tina and the team, for the great informative tour to see where most of our purchased food comes from!

The time has come for the 3rd Annual bEAT Concert! Enjoy music by The Cutaways, food trucks, Culver's custard, and drinks at Wilson Park on Saturday, September 9th. Don't forget to bring a few non-perishable or personal care items to "Stuff the Truck" for our food pantry.
