REMINDER TO SUBMIT COMMENTS TO ARAWC GOVERNMENT RELATIONS TEAM ON NEW EMPLOYER AND INSURER DISCLOSURE RULES BY
SEPTEMBER 4, 2019
The Texas Department of Insurance has proposed a new rule on "required disclosures for plans or coverages that are not workers' compensation insurance." A link to the proposed rule is below. Comments are due to the agency by 5:00 pm central time on September 9. You can comment directly or submit comments to Ryan Brannan at ryan@brannanllc.com, preferably by Wednesday, September 4. Detailed comments submitted last year by ARAWC and the government relations team on TDI's informal proposal had a materially favorable impact, and we've monitored and reported on this over the past year. Now that the proposal has been released, ARAWC is further analyzing the proposal for its impact on non subscribers and welcomes additional member questions and feedback.
