Library Closings
The library will be closed Monday, September 6, for Labor Day.
The library will be closed Friday, September 24, for staff training.
Here's What's Happening
In mid-September, the Waterloo Public Library will launch our new website! While this site will look much different, rest assured the same great content will still be available. The site's URL will not change (, but the site's paths will change so bookmarked pages from the old site will no longer work. Once live, the public will be able to request meeting room reservations and view and register for upcoming library events through the calendar feature of the site. New, for-profit groups (such as businesses and law offices) may request meeting room facilities for a nominal fee. Groups that are business members of Friends of the Waterloo Public Library will enjoy up to 3 free room rentals per year. Non-profit organizations will continue to have access to the library’s meeting spaces at no cost.
For the month of September, Friends of the Waterloo Public Library will receive a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable red "My Heart" bag at the Logan Avenue Hy-Vee store.
What's hot? What's not? Join us for this monthly forum to discuss the latest "binge-worthy" books, movies & TV shows.
