  • The Miracle Babies Transportation Assistance Program logged 8,276 miles and provided 227 rides to parents with hospitalized babies.

  • Delivered 200 care packages to Southern California hospitals providing resources, care, and comfort items to parents

  • Hosted 4 Virtual Miracle Hours connecting dozens of NICU parents to one another.

  • Distributed more than 41,150 diapers to 400 families

Congratulations to our 2022 Photo Calendar Contest winner, Gael Solis!
Gael is currently still in the NICU. He was born at 23 weeks gestation on August 20, 2021. Miracle Babies was granted special permission to photograph this precious little boy for the cover picture of our 2022 calendar. Miracle Mom Shauri is ecstatic for the support she received from her family and friends.
We want to say a huge thank you to WaterWipes for sponsoring the calendar and giving Gael a year supply of baby wipes and a $250 Amazon gift card. We also want to thank Mary Sasso Photography for donating her professional services.
Thank You to These Sponsors!
Miracle Babies was the recipient of hundreds of children's board books and writing journals for our NICU Care Packages. This generous donation came from FOCUS (Friends of Children United Society) a local volunteer organization helping to make life better for children in need.
Many NICU parents can't hold their babies for weeks, but they can read to them! These books allow parents the opportunity to read to their hospitalized babies during their long crib side hours.
At our September Diaper Distribution, the National City Public Library joined our efforts to provide support to parents in need. Library staff and volunteers distributed over 450 new books at our Diaper Distribution. This was an exciting addition to the more thank 41K diapers distributed, baby clothes, hand sanitizer, and food we provide to the 400 families that participated. We are grateful for National City Public Library's support!
Thank you to the following Facebook friends who “hosted” Facebook fundraisers in September to raise money for Miracle Babies: Terri Thomas, Lala Bayramova, Mondy GB, and Stellar Steph Vast -we appreciate you!
If you are interested in “hosting” your own Facebook fundraiser for Miracle Babies, go to the Fundraiser section of the Miracle Babies page and click on “Raise Money” or click below.
Ila Kay was born on May 21, 2020 - right in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. She was born at 32 weeks and 1 day. Ila spent a total of 31 days in the NICU. Miracle mom Leann shared Ila's story with Miracle Babies before the 2021 Superhero 5K. It was wonderful to see Ila and her family at the 5K this year!
Thank you to our 2021 Gala Chairs, Sandra Alavai, Selma Daniels, and the gala committee for your time, dedication, and resources in making this year's gala a magical evening under the stars at the beautiful Rancho Valencia. These generous philanthropic leaders are proud to support our mission that leads to better beginnings for precious babies.
