HOW YOU CAN HELP....

Thanks to our generous supporters, Miracle Babies had this impact in September 2019:

  • $24,700 awarded to 63 families in need in San Diego and Orange County. By removing financial barriers and providing key resources during the weeks following a child’s birth, we have the potential to positively impact health outcomes for an entire generation of children!

  • 60+ parents participated in 7 hosted “Miracle Hours”.  Parents enjoyed a meal, participated in crafts, and most importantly, escaped the isolation of the NICU – if only for any hour.

  • 210 care packages were delivered to 13 hospitals. These packages were delivered to parents with babies in the NICU, regardless of need. These packages contain contents intended to support parents who spend considerable time in the NICU breastfeeding and providing “kangaroo care”.
If you are interested in volunteering or making an in-kind donation, please contact info@miraclebabies.org .
Thank you to the following Facebook friends who “hosted” Facebook fundraisers in September to raise money for Miracle Babies:
Shania Beers, Mandy Brekke, Kelsi Smith, Brittney L Rudd, Kim Handy Kaetely Rodriguez, Josie Blackwell, Kate Kerrigan, A O de Carrizales, Christal Denise Smith - we appreciate each one of you!

MIRACLE OF THE MONTH
Miracle Baby Isaiah
Meet Miracle Baby Isaiah born August 25th, 2018 at 28 weeks and 2 days. Little Isaiah weighed 2 pounds and 8 ounces spending his first 80 days in the NICU. Today, Isaiah is a sweet, happy one year old beginning to walk, says mom and dadda and loves food. Miracle mom Kaetely reflects on her time in the NICU and says, "Miracle babies helped in so many ways not only emotionally but also financially. They helped us with anything we needed like diapers, clothing, and gas money because we lived more than 30 minutes away from the hospital." Isaiah, we look forward to seeing you grow!
MIRACLE WORKER
Each month, “Special Delivery” will spotlight a “Miracle Worker” – someone who contributes to make Miracle Babies great!
Kerry Boesch

Kerry Boesch is dedicated to helping others and giving back to her community. Professionally Kerry is an occupational therapist for a local school district. Kerry is most proud of being mom to 7 year old Clare and 4 year old Carson. Kerry connected with Miracle Babies shortly after the birth of her daughter Clare. During Kerry's pregnancy with Clare she suddenly developed preeclampsia. Clare was born 8 weeks early weighing 3 pounds and 4 ounces. Little Clare spent the first 38 days of her life in the NICU. Shortly after Clare's birth, Kerry saw a flyer for the Miracle Babies 5K and immediately rallied a team to walk in honor of Clare. In the last 6 years Kerry and her 5K Little Miracles Team has raised over $14,000 for Miracle Babies. Additionally, Kerry is instrumental in reaching out to her network securing emergency baby items for NICU parents. Thank you Kerry for all you do personally and professionally!
