New Staff Roles to Be Presented at February Presbytery Meeting
At our February Presbytery meeting, the Strategic Planning Leadership Team (SPLT) will present job descriptions for two important new staff positions: Executive Presbyter and Director of Presbytery Operations and Congregational Vitality. These roles were developed after extensive listening sessions across the presbytery and through consultation with each presbytery staff member. They are intentionally designed to align with the "Three Year Revolving Goals" adopted at the October Presbytery meeting, focusing on equipping the presbytery for a vibrant future of ministry and mission.
A Visionary Leader for the Presbytery
The first of the new positions is the Executive Presbyter. This role is central to fostering vision, innovation, and collaboration throughout the presbytery. The Executive Presbyter will serve as the primary leader and guide for achieving the presbytery’s mission and goals, nurturing a culture of creativity, and strengthening partnerships within and beyond our congregations. By working closely with ministers, congregations, and committees, the Executive Presbyter will help unify the presbytery around a shared sense of purpose and direction, encouraging spiritual vitality and mission-oriented ministry.
