📚 "Tell a Fairy Tale Day!" 📚

Cultures around the world have passed down fairy tales and stories through the generations. Luckily, we have access to all of them through books!

Here are a few ways you can enjoy stories and books at the Children's Museum of Virginia.

3 Ways to

Enjoy a Book at the Children's Museum of VA

1.

Visit the REACH (Reading Enriches All Children) Library reading area. Children may choose to read a book, take a book home, and/or drop a book into the donation box.

2.

Join us for a Special Day for Special Needs, sponsored by Wells Fargo. The Children’s Museum of Virginia welcomes families with children who have behavioral, health and/or developmental challenges. Visitors can explore the museum, use adaptive materials, relax in a quiet space, and enjoy a reduced number of visitors.

Local Author, Dana Young-Askew will be sharing her book Come Meet Drayden with our visitors on February 27th.

The book gives a glimpse into the world of a special needs child, Drayden.
