Have you ever felt like you are doing something wrong when you are outside enjoying some personal time instead of working?
You know, that guilt feeling like if you are cheating or something?
I know the feeling!! I have what many call a type A personality and in the back of my mind I'm constantly thinking that I should always be productive, hustling, making the "mula" $$$$ to live the good life.
I think that as a society we have created the assumption that the only value we have as human beings is our productivity capability. You keep going and going until BOOM! you feel exhausted & depleted. When that happens, who is really productive, making the $$$ or making things happen??
Let's face it, if we are being honest with ourselves we only work about 4-5 hours productively per day, the rest is just busy work that gets us nowhere. Huh!! that is an eye opener and you know is true.
So let us together Stand Against the Hustle Culture. Let's define what our ideal day looks like, give our mind time to wander, reward yourself with "ME' time for the great work you did in 4-5 hours. Work hard, play hard and rest hard.
After all is said and done, we don't remember much about the hard working days, but we do remember the days we truly enjoyed life and made a difference for those around us.
