There is still time to register for our walking tour of Jackson Ward this Saturday, November 19, from 10 am - 12 pm! The tour will cover the history of Jackson Ward, a historically African American neighborhood, as well as discussing current and upcoming planning projects and plans and their effects on the area - including the Jackson Ward Community Plan and the Reconnect Jackson Ward project.

This is a great opportunity to try out biking or riding the GRTC.

 

By Bus: The Pulse Bus Rapid Transit runs east-west and has the Arts District stop at Broad Street and Adams Street close to the Maggie Walker Plaza. Additional Bus Routes (1A, 1B, and 1C) have stops that connect to 2nd Street and Broad Street, which is nearby the Maggie Walker Memorial Plaza.


By Bike: Nearby bikeshare station is at Abner Clay Park.
