As we conclude a remarkable summer, I am thrilled to report that we sent a record number of campers to Camp Tekakwitha this year! Thanks to support from the the Diocese of Green Bay and the Cornerstone Foundation of Northeastern Wisconsin, 37 children attended camp. It has been a season filled with fun, learning, and growth for these CASA children.

With the new school year approaching, our focus shifts to supporting these children through upcoming changes. Transitioning from summer activities to school can be both exciting and challenging. For many of the kids we serve, the start of a new school year can bring a mix of emotions—anticipation, excitement, and anxiety. They might face new routines, different teachers, and changes in social dynamics. It’s important to recognize that these transitions can be significant, especially for children who have already experienced a lot of change in their young lives.

We are incredibly grateful for the Ticket to Dream Foundation and Famous Footwear for helping to provide back to school essentials and educational support for CASA children and youth. Because of strong partnerships like these, we can help kids have what they need to start the school year.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you - our supporters and CASA volunteers. Your passion for our mission and dedication to our CASA children makes all the difference. Together, we are not just helping prepare the kids for school, we are changing stories!

Sincerely,

Nicole Ronk, Associate Director - Child Advocacy
