1. ITS TIME TO AMPLIFY
FRIENDS OF PAWS IN PRISON
From 6 pm on Wednesday, March 1 to
6 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 (CST)
EARLY BIRD DONATIONS HAVE BEGUN!
|
|
Amplify Austin Day is somewhat of a misnomer because it is really "Amplify Central Texas" day. Beginning at 6 PM on March 1 thru 6 PM on March 2, over 700 nonprofits within the Central Texas area (San Antonio, Austin, Buda, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Seguin, Lockhart, and surrounding areas) have registered to participate in Amplify Austin Day.
Thanks to your participation, Amplify Austin Day has resulted in a major part of our annual revenue each year. We need your help to make an even bigger impact on our program in 2023. Shelters are hurting with an overflow of pets and are no longer providing certain medical services. Now we must pick up these costs. With increasing costs across the board, your support is more important than ever before. We don't want to stop rescuing dogs who need medical intervention just because they will be too expensive for us (and more likely to be euthanized!).
If you or your business would also like to provide a matching grant, please send an email to jeri.pawsinprison@gmail.com.

Please join us on this special day of giving by creating your own Friends of Paws in Prison fundraising page, and it's easy to do.

HOW TO BE A FRIENDS OF PAWS IN PRISON
FUNDRAISING CHAMPION
1. Go to the Friends of Paws in Prison Amplify Austin Page by
2. Under the Friends of Paws in Prison, Inc. name (you may need to scroll down), click on the FUNDRAISE button.
|
|
3. Create an account on the displayed form by entering your name, email, and personal password.
4. You will receive an email from GiveGab (the payment processing provider) with the option to customize your page (but you don't have to) along with the link to your fundraising page. Your name will be listed under the main Friends of Paws in Prison page under "Top Fundraisers" where folks can find you or you can send them your page link (you can display your name any way you want). You are now part of the Friends of Paws in Prison Fundraising Champion Team!
5. Send your page link to your network of friends and family or direct them to our main page where they can select your name in the Top Fundraisers section. All donations are secure and credited to the Friends of Paws in Prison account.
NOTE: If you don't see your name listed under Top Fundraisers, click on the "SEE MORE FUNDRAISERS" button to expand the list to show all the Friends of Paws in Prison Fundraisers.
It's an easy sell; just encourage your personal network of people via email, texts, social media, or just good old live conversations to go to your fundraising page to learn about Friends of Paws in Prison. If they feel inspired to help, they will want to make a donation because the organization is AWESOME! Every dollar counts, especially now because we have a $5,000 matching grant committed!
People are inspired by our mission after they learn about us, but we need your help to share our story.
If you or your business would also like to provide a matching grant, please send an email to jeri.pawsinprison@gmail.com.

We have been so excited lately to see new adoption applications! Now is a good time to give adopters important tips on integrating new pups into their homes.

Meet Paws in Prison graduate Beanie adopted by Erika and Tony in Austin, Tx. You may have seen Erika's posts about Beanie on the Friends of Paws in Prison, Inc Facebook page. Erika shares, "Our Beanie is a 2-year-old Paws in Prison graduate who has been with us, his forever home, for just over 6 months.
Since adopting Beanie, he has quickly become the light of our lives. He lives every day with happiness and thanks for the second chance he has been given! Every day he reminds us to stop and say hello to those who pass by (dogs and people), enjoy the wind in our hair when we ride in the car, and to love unconditionally.
We can't thank Paws In Prison enough for rescuing Beanie, training him so very well and trusting us to be the best forever home for him. We will always remind Beanie about his Paws in Prison experience and how important that part of his story is!”
