SUPPORT YOUR POWHATAN NEIGHBORS

Habitat-Powhatan thanks you

for building with us!

Article Heading

Through your time and/or financial support this fiscal year, 69 individuals have received critical repairs, and Stacey Eggleston will close on her Habitat home and mortgage June 24. Her son, James, can’t wait to cook in their new kitchen!

We build because, for many, homes are not attainable. We build because that is the best way to help families create financial stability. We build because many in Powhatan live in substandard housing.

With the help of volunteers and donors, much-needed repairs not only solve immediate safety concerns but also contribute to the overall well-being and stability of families.

As outgoing board member and past President John Saber says, “Critical repairs are not just about fixing structural issues; they represent a lifeline for these families, preserving the homes they’ve invested so much in.

"All efforts big or small not only help to improve the safety and livability of someone’s home but also foster a sense of community and togetherness.”

To help us continue to build we ask that you consider donating to Habitat for Humanity - Powhatan by June 30.

By donating you will provide upfront funding for building materials and services to be used starting July 1.

The Eggleston family and the family of critical repair client Mattie Pleasants are all part of the stronger community we are building together in Powhatan, with your continued support!
