DCDP America 250 Celebration


The Davidson County Democratic Party invites you to our America 250 Celebration on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anzie Blue (2111 Belcourt Ave, Suite 101, Nashville, TN 37212).

Our America 250 Celebration will feature candidates running in the August 6 primary election, along with a straw poll of every competitive race on the ballot. You'll hear the latest party updates and our strategy for contesting races this November — all over heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and great company!

Corletra Mance Meet and Greet


Join supporters of Corletra Mance, candidate for Circuit Court Judge, Div. III, for a Kitchen & Kocktails Meet and Greet.

Come meet Mark Proctor and share what issues matter most to you and the community. RSVP encouraged.

The DCYD will host a fundraiser on Thurs, April 23 from 5:30 - 7 p.m. in the home of Fmr. Mayor Megan Barry. Address provided upon RSVP.

The Davidson County Democratic Party's executive committee meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Freeman-Webb Building unless otherwise noted.

A coalition of Nashville based labor unions and community organizations will gather on May Day to rally for workers and against the influence of billionaire oligarchs in our state and community.

Important Upcoming Election Information

This year is a critical Midterm Election year. We have three important elections that are taking place in the coming months. The first is the May 5 County Primary Election, the second is the August 6 State and Federal Primary, County General Election, and the Oak Hill Municipal Election, and the third and final is the November 3 General Election.


Please review the Davidson County Election Calendar and all of the election information below so that you are up to speed, can make a plan to vote, and get ready to cast your ballot!

 

May 5 Primary Election

The May 5 County Primary Election is fast approaching. Early Voting begins in a few weeks on April 15 and runs until April 30.

Democrats will be electing the DCDP Executive Committee as well as who will be on the August 6 County General Election ballot as the Democratic Nominee for Circuit Court Judge, Criminal Court Judge, General Sessions Judge, School Board Districts 2/4/6/8, and several other elections up and down the ballot!

August 6 Election

The August 6 State/Federal Primary, County General Election, and the Oak Hill Municipal Election will be here before you know it!

In this election, Democrats will be electing candidates from the May 5 Primary, as well as selecting who they want to represent them on the ballot for the November 3 General Election as the Democratic Nominee for U.S. Senate, Congressional districts 5/6/7, Governor, and several other elections up and down the ballot!

Precinct Captain Program

Precinct captains are grassroots leaders who help the party turn out Democratic voters in their neighborhood. Precinct captains will receive training and other tools and resources to be successful building our party infrastructure to turn the tide in Tennessee.
