Gaming Frog Releases Android Beta App
Venture Class 5 company, Gaming Frog, is proud to announce that their Android beta app is now available on the Google Play Store. The beta app focuses on FIFA 18 and 17 head-to-head matches, including "dummy funds" (no real money yet), in-match chat, public chat and a dispute system. The beta phase will take place for 30 to 60 days and each user will begin with $200 in dummy funds. During this time, Gaming Frog will give away cash prizes to all beta participants based on their performance and leader board standings, including up to $500 in cash prizes, Gaming Frog swag, and special prizes for first, second and third place. Claim Your Future Showcase
The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County needs your support to introduce South Florida's future workforce to career opportunities in the region. The Claim Your Future Showcase will take place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Feb. 6 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

An interactive display will be given to exhibitors so attendees can learn about their company and industry, while students will discover future occupations and career paths in South Florida.

Meet The Angels
FAU Tech Runway and Gold Coast Venture Capital Association invite you to Meet The Angels on Thur. Feb. 8 at FAU Tech Runway.

The event is designed to provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to meet some of South Florida's major angel groups and investors. Local entrepreneurs will learn about these organizations, who to contact, their investment parameters and process.

Investors and angel organizations will gain exposure to South Florida's broader entrepreneurial community and network with fellow investors. Tickets are selling fast – get yours today.
Rice Business Plan Competition
Compete to join the world's biggest business plan competition, where collegiate entrepreneurs get real-world experience with pitching their startups to investors, integrating with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, enhancing their startup strategy and learning what it takes to launch a successful business.

The RBPC is hosted and organized by the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship and the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. Participants will have the opportunity to receive mentoring from investors and experienced entrepreneurs, network with potential venture capitalists and investors, receive individual feedback during three separate sessions and receive up to $1.7 million in prizes. Applications are due on Feb. 9 .
2018 Young Scientist Challenge
3M and Discovery Education are teaming up again to challenge passionate fifth through eighth graders across the country to harness their curiosity to solve real-world problems through science and innovation. Devin Willis, an FAU Tech Runway student entrepreneur, placed fourth in the 2017 national competition.

Students are encouraged to submit their innovative idea for the chance to win an exclusive mentorship with a 3M Scientist and up to $25,000. All entries must be submitted by  Apr. 19.
