The Child Rescue Coalition (CRC), an FAU Tech Runway alumni, recently raised $275,000 at their fourth annual gala to help eliminate child sexual abuse. The nonprofit, formed in 2013, has developed technology used by law enforcement to track, arrest and prosecute child predators.
Over the last five years, the CRC has helped arrest 11,200 child predators and rescue more than 2,500 children. In addition, the organization has prevented a remarkable half a million cases of child sexual abuse.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, they will train more than 100 investigators during five courses across Michigan, New York, Texas and Colorado, this Spring. CRC's technology is provided at no cost to more than 11,000 law enforcement officials in 50 states and 90 countries worldwide.
To learn more about the Tech Runway alumni, attend their Town Hall Lunch and Learn from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, in Boca Raton. RSVP
