Additional state-of-the-art renovations will soon start on Edgecombe Community College’s Rocky Mount campus. The student lounge, located in the Barnes building, will be completely modernized. Construction is slated to begin this month, with completion anticipated approximately 180 days after the start.

Enroll now in Nurse Aide II Training! This course starts January 29 and equips graduates with essential skills to care for patients under licensed supervision. It includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences. Upon completion and skill/competency evaluation, candidates are eligible to apply for Nurse Aide II listing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. The course fee is $201.50, plus additional costs for materials and screenings. Class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Scholarships may be available to those who qualify.
