Edgecombe Community College and City of Rocky Mount officials gathered in December for a ribbon-cutting to unveil an electric vehicle charging station on the college's Rocky Mount campus. The city owns the public charging station, which is located next to the Barbering Building. The Level 2 charging station can charge two vehicles simultaneously and is one of two city-owned public EV charging stations.
