Advisory boards inform ECC programs
Norris Tolson

About 200 area leaders in education, health care, business, and industry joined Edgecombe Community College faculty on the Tarboro campus for Advisory Board Night held on February 28. Norris Tolson, CEO and president of Carolinas Gateway Partnership, provided the keynote address on economic development investments in Edgecombe County. "We are the envy of the state right now," he said.

Student Success Center staff visited Craven Community College in New Bern today. Craven staff shared their best practices in student services, financial aid, and retention solutions. The Student Success Center team members are excited to bring back the information garnered and improve their ability to provide the #ECCEdge. Global Ed Symposium meets March 14-15

The College's annual Global Education Spring Symposium meets Thursday-Friday, March 14-15, on the Rocky Mount campus. Sponsored by the Diversity and Global Connections Committee, the event will focus on "Embracing the Culture of Change." ECC President Dr. Greg McLeod will give the keynote address at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. All events are free and open to the public.
Job seekers wanted for ECC Job Fair
Job Fair

The ECC Job Fair is set for Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Fleming Building on the Tarboro campus. Job seekers will have an opportunity to meet more than 40 employers. College employees will provide resume review services. ECC student transportation will be provided from the Rocky Mount campus. The ECC Job Fair is free to students and the community.
 
New York Theatre Ballet performs on March 21

New York Theatre Ballet

The New York Theatre Ballet will perform classical and contemporary dance at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, in Keihin Auditorium on the Tarboro campus. Thanks to the support of the Furman Mathewson Memorial Trust, this performance is free to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets are available through the ECC Box Office.
