April 12, 2019
Dear STAOPCS Families,

As we enter Holy Week, we prepare our hearts for the remembrance of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ. At St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, we will honor the solemnity of these days through our morning and afternoon school-wide prayers, our classroom lessons, our Holy Thursday events, our time with Paduan Pods, the Stations of the Cross and more. We encourage our students to be active participants --- not merely spectators --- in these expressions of our faith. We have emphasized this important communal aspect of our church with our students asking them to be actively involved in the Mass --- singing, responding, engaging, etc. We are asking if you would join us in sharing with our students the importance of fully participating in the Mass. We are always stronger when we are together. Thank you for your help and for partnering with us. Please join us this Thursday if you are able. At 10:00 am, we will begin with Stations of the Cross followed by a special Lenten talk given by Nestor Cayanan. We would love to have you here!

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker
