We were saddened to have to cancel this year's Talent Show, but we want to showcase your student's talent! Send a video clip of 2 minutes or less of your student demonstrating their talent! We will compile all of the video clips and share the video with school families in next week's edition of The Messenger!

Deadline to submit clips is Thursday, April 30th to advancement@staopcs.org.
We are excited to be able to partner with our Parish to continue our May Crowning tradition in a new way. On May 1st (during your drop-off/pick-up time), you may bring a flower for Mary and place them around the outdoor statue of Mary in our piazza. Click the image below for event details.
Let's celebrate our teachers!
  • Encourage your students to create cards or write notes of appreciation. Drop cards or notes off for your teachers at our next drop-off day on May 1st.
  • Or send virtual greetings to their emails. They would love to see your students!

We know that there are many things weighing on our hearts now. If you want to send in a prayer intention, please do so using this link: https://www.staopcs.org/prayers. Father Tom has said he will keep these intentions in his prayers as we continue to face this difficult time in our world.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 around the world and in our communities, our retail storefronts have been temporarily closed to ensure the safety of our valuable employees and our loyal customers and schools. Parents and school administrators and sta can rest assured, however – that Risse Brothers is still fully functional and operational online, 24-7 for your uniform needs for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year! Our easy to navigate site will help you in staying on track and of course we’re only a phone call away (or email) to assist you. With everyone doing their part during this trying time, we will surely be back and up and running in all of our stores to keep servicing your every needs! We are optimistic in that time being sooner than later, and all schools will be notified as soon as the re-openings occur. We already can’t wait to see you. Stay safe, stay optimistic!
Thank you sincerely to all who participated in our A Million Wishes Gala! Together we raised over $160,000 to support our students and programs. In a time of uncertainty, we are so grateful for your support and trust of our school.
To date, over $11,000 has been raised for our new flexible seating options in our classrooms - and there is still time to participate in funding this project!

We recognize that when students have work space variety in the classroom they are empowered to find the place where they can be the most comfortable, engaged, and productive learners.  Raise the Paddle proceeds will allow teachers to choose flexible seating options that will provide the best classroom learning experience for our students.

Please consider donating to our Raise the Paddle and transform not only classrooms, but lives through education.
