August 23, 2019
Dear St. Anthony of Padua Families,

Happy Long Weekend! Your students (and you!) have definitely earned it after getting through the first three weeks of this year. When your students return on Tuesday, we will begin our Second Step Social - Emotional Learning Program. I am so excited to launch this program which will help our students build empathy, social skills, understanding and compassion. You will also receive communications which will help you reinforce these concepts at home. Thank you, in advance, for your help with this program’s success. Something at our recent Archdiocesan in-service made me think of this program and the need for us to be “all in”. One of our speakers shared that “Alone I Am a Movement; Together We Are a Force”. Mrs. Ettman shared this with her Art students as each made a butterfly now on display in the upstairs hallway (pictured). Alone, a butterfly might not make a major impact. But a fleet of butterflies together can make a change. Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker
  • Middle school park and walk is for middle school students and their siblings
  • Parents and other family members should stay in their cars to wait for the students
  • Anyone who wants to park and get out to meet their student should park in the front of the school in the personal pick-up lot
  • All cars should back in to parking spaces and pull out facing forward
  • Students will be released to cross over to the Park & Walk lot one group at a time, waiting until cars are cleared so students can move safely
  • Cars and students should not be moving at the same time
  • Students whose parents are not parked in the lot are sent back to the sidewalk to wait. Students may not wait in the parking lot.

Please remember to exercise kindness and patience in our parking lots for the safety of all of our students, families and parishioners.
