Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

What a busy week we have had! On Thursday, our Paduan Pods met and made tilmas in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Our 8th graders taught the younger dolphins about St. Juan Diego and his incredible faith and devotion to Our Lady. There are so many blessings being at a Pre-K – 8th grade school but one of my favorites is definitely the opportunities for leadership, mentorship and growth that are uniquely present in a school with such a wide range of ages. A big thank you to Mrs. Martin and her 8th graders for their work in preparing this special morning for our students. May the incredible faith of St. Juan Diego and the ardent charity of Our Lady be a guide and inspiration to us as we continue on our Advent journeys.

ATHLETICS UPDATE

Dolphins’ Basketball This Week:

Monday: The Dolphins traveled to St. Rose of Lima to take on the Cardinals. JV Boys WON 26-19, while Varsity Boys fought hard but fell short, 31-52.

Tuesday: The C-Team Boys and JV Boys faced the Tigers of Sacred Heart in Conroe. C-Team WON 24-14, and JV Boys claimed another victory, 28-16. Way to go, Dolphins!

Tonight: In the Dolphins Den, the Mighty Dolphins take on the Magi of Epiphany Catholic School. JV Boys tip-off at 4:30 PM, followed by Varsity Boys at 5:30 PM.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CONTEST

Sunday, January 12 | 12:30 - 3:00 pm | St. Anthony Gym

Join us for this fun annual event! The contest will be held in the St. Anthony of Padua gymnasium. This event is open to Girls and Boys aged 9 to 14 years. Age eligibility is determined by the age of the contestant as of January 1, 2025.

Gender and age groups will compete separately. All are welcome - including non-parishioners. Bring a friend!

Registration will begin on the day of the event at 12:30pm in the gymnasium.

Human Person Course For Adults - Coming January 2025

Frassati Catholic High School is excited to once again offer adults the opportunity to experience The Human Person, the first course in the Ethics & Culture curriculum, taught by Sister Beatrice. Classes will begin in mid-January and occur once a week on campus at Frassati Catholic. Course information and registration form can be found on our website (click here)!
