Dear St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School families,

This upcoming week is Internet Safety Week. Throughout this week, students will be reminded of the importance of being good digital citizens, being responsible with all forms of social media and establishing a balance between screens and other priorities: family, church, schoolwork, friends, etc. We are thrilled to be offering a unique event on our campus this Tuesday, February 19th at 6:30 pm. Parents and students (ages 10 and over) are invited to attend the screening of “Screenagers : Growing Up in a Digital Age” hosted in our gym. This film, which is approximately one hour, takes a close look at family life amidst the struggles that technology can create. Additionally, parents will be given tools on how to help our students navigate this digital world different from the one we grew up in. For more information on Screenagers and for more resources, please visit https://www.screenagersmovie.com/ . I hope to see you on Tuesday evening! (As an additional incentive, if you are able to attend, your children will be allowed to come to school out of uniform on Thursday, February 21 st .)
