Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

What a wonderful Catholic Schools Week! One of my favorite things on campus is to witness the many transformations of our school gym! And this past week was one with many changes. Seeing so many of you at Pastries with Parents last week was so fun! Your students are always excited to gobble up some donuts with you and then take you to their classrooms. On Saturday, our gym became a Winter Wonderland as fathers danced the night away with their princesses. As the parent of a 20-year-old daughter, some of her favorite memories are all those dances from Pre-K – 8th grade. On Monday, our students and staff gathered in the Gym to pray a Divine Mercy Chaplet for our Nation. Then, after many P.E. classes led by Coach Koett and Coach Quickel and hosting St. Rose and St. Anne for middle school basketball games, we welcome prospective families in the gym for our Open House Presentation on Thursday night. Finally, all gathered in the gym again on Friday as our teachers and staff performed as Masked Singers entertaining our students with our singing and dancing skills as our Dolphins tried to guess who was behind the costume. Be sure to ask your students about it. 😊

Our Catholic Schools Week ends with Mass this weekend. Our school choir will sing alongside our church choir at the 9:00 Sunday Morning Mass. Students will also serve as lectors, cantors, altar servers and ushers. If your student wears his/her school uniform to any St. Anthony Mass this weekend, he/she may come in free dress on Monday. Thank you for all you did to make this Catholic Schools Week extra special and thank you for entrusting your students to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School!

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker
