Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,
Yesterday, our Kindergarten – 8th grade students attended their final SMART Families Presentation of the Year. In these presentations entitled “Follow Me”, our students learned how much God loves each of them and our responsibility to “Follow Him” (Matthew 9:9) --- which also means online and on social media. Statistics and anecdotes were shared that opened our eyes to the dangers of addiction to technology and the benefits of conversation and relationships and living in community, the way God intended for us to live. Please ask your students about these meetings and what they learned. For more information on SMART Families and their resources or to sign the Pledge, please visit: https://www.smart-families.org/. Our partnership with SMART Families will enter our second year in 2025-2026.
Only by His Grace,
Veronica Tucker
Principal
