Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,
This has been such an exciting week at St. Anthony of Padua! On Wednesday, we welcomed our Class of 2021 back to campus as they walked the halls to the cheers of our Dolphins. I remember well when this Senior class was in our classrooms… it seems like yesterday. How the time flies! Best of luck to the St. Anthony Class of 2021 as they start their college careers!
And then yesterday morning, we had our Graduation Mass! We are so proud of the Class of 2025! This year’s class has 43 students. Some joined us this year as 8th graders, and some have been here since their Pre-K3 days with Mrs. Foy and Mrs. Rodriguez. Now all 43 join the ranks of our St. Anthony of Padua Alumni and we couldn’t be prouder. 32 of our graduates will attend Frassati Catholic High School. One each will attend St. Pius X Catholic High School, Cathedral High School, Concordia Lutheran High School, The Woodlands Christian Academy and John Cooper School. One will attend school in Mexico and five will attend local public schools. This diversity of secondary schools shows that they will be spread out all over the city, state and the world. I have no doubt that they will do great things.
Please join me in congratulating these students and praying for their continued success!
Only by His Grace,
Veronica Tucker
Principal

Evil exists, and it is every parent’s worst nightmare that something bad could happen to our children. Unfortunately, this fear is exacerbated by social media and news outlets. Fear sells. We can be tempted to believe that worst-case scenarios are commonplace rather than exceptions.
As Proverbs 3:5–6 states: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; in all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths.” We can have confidence that God will be there to lift us up and guide our decisions.
