Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

HAPPY THANKSGIVING BREAK! I feel like it’s been a long road to get to this break and I am so incredibly thankful for each of you. Thank you for making the sacrifice to send your students here and entrusting them to us. Thank you for all the additional ways you support our school especially the generosity shown during Dolphin Donor Day this past Wednesday - $109,000 with 83% participation. You are amazing! Mostly, thank you for your prayers which I know are what have gotten us through this most challenging of years. I pray that your Thanksgiving holiday week provides time for your families to slow down, enjoy fantastic meals, laugh and tell stories, cheer on some good football teams (preferably Notre Dame 😊) and rest and recharge for our final push to Christmas.

Continuing with our November Saints Trivia… This morning the students were given this clue: “I was born in Italy to a wealthy family. I was educated in the faith and developed a deep spiritual life. I joined the St. Vincent de Paul Society and dedicated much of my spare time to serving the sick and needy. I died at the age of 24 from poliomyelitis. Our new Catholic high school in town is named after me. Who am I?

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker
