Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

This past Monday, we had our third monthly assembly of the year. Once a month, we come together as an entire school (Pre-K3 – 8th grade) in the gym on Monday morning. It’s one of my favorite days of the month. I love seeing all of our students, faculty and staff come together to celebrate our school. After prayers and pledges, we review the Heroic Virtue of the previous month and recognize those students who stood out as living that virtue. Next, an 8th grader introduces the next month’s virtue. This month, our Heroic Virtue is faith. We learned about faith and about St. Padre Pio whose life manifested this virtue so beautifully. Next, Mrs. Leddy and Mrs. Garfield recognize Writing Leaders. We then share other important announcements, have all birthdays for the month stand and be honored and then close with prayer. When then challenge our students to live out the virtues. Please take some time to reinforce the Heroic Virtue of Faith at home this month as we all strive to live like St. Padre Pio.

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker Principal

SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL

FUND FOR ST. ANTHONY

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School relies on annual, tax-deductible gifts, in addition to tuition, to balance the budget and enhance opportunities for our students. The Fund for St. Anthony allows us to make important investments beyond what tuition covers. Last year, these funds helped us:

  • Adopt new science curriculum for 1st-8th grades.
  • Introduce exciting new middle school electives such as Visual Art, Spanish, Theater, Coding, and Contemporary Catholic Songwriting.
  • Fully fund our full-time security, ensuring campus safety.
  • Improve greenspace by flattening fields and moving the Gaga pits and adding security fencing.
  • Install gym hallway cubbies to keep our spaces organized..

This year, we need your support to continue providing faculty development, supporting spiritual enrichment, providing tuition assistance, and integrating the latest technology. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly impacts our school. Our goal is for 100% of our enrolled families to participate in the Fund for St. Anthony.
