Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,
Did you know that October is the Month of the Holy Rosary? We know this well at St. Anthony of Padua and focus our prayers on Our Mother this month. This past Tuesday morning, the school gathered in the church for our Living Rosary. Led by our 8th graders and teachers, we opened this month in the way best to honor Mary: through the prayers of the decades of the rosary.
There are some differing views on when the rosary was invented but most tradition turns to St. Dominic (13th century) as the founder of the rosary in the form that we use today. While the origins may not be completely known, we do know that this form of prayer is one of the most well-known by Catholics worldwide. Rosaries are found in cars, in purses, in suitcases, pockets, on backpacks and more. At St. Anthony of Padua, we have a Rosary Club that meets at 7:15 am every Tuesday morning for 2nd graders and up. Even younger can attend if joined by a parent. If your student is able to attend, please have them join us. No sign-up required! What a great way to honor Our Lady this October!
Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary, Pray for Us.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, Pray for Us.
Mary, Queen of the Angels, Pray for Us.
Mary, Morning Star, Pray for Us.
Mary, Seat of Wisdom, Pray for Us.
Mary, Our Mother, Pray for Us.
Only by His Grace,
Veronica Tucker

FUND FOR ST. ANTHONY
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School relies on annual, tax-deductible gifts, in addition to tuition, to balance the budget and enhance opportunities for our students. The Fund for St. Anthony allows us to make important investments beyond what tuition covers. Last year, these funds helped us:
- Adopt new science curriculum for 1st-8th grades.
- Introduce exciting new middle school electives such as Visual Art, Spanish, Theater, Coding, and Contemporary Catholic Songwriting.
- Fully fund our full-time security officer, ensuring campus safety.
- Improve greenspace by flattening fields and moving the Gaga pits and adding security fencing.
- Install gym hallway cubbies to keep our spaces organized..
This year, we need your support to continue providing faculty development, supporting spiritual enrichment, providing tuition assistance, and integrating the latest technology. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly impacts our school. Our goal is for 100% of our enrolled families to participate in the Fund for St. Anthony.
2024-2025 Wish List
Make an immediate impact by purchasing an item from our Wish List! Gifts to the Wish List also count toward the Fund for St. Anthony.
Matching Gifts
Does your employer offer a matching gift program? You can double or even triple your donation’s impact! Contact your employer's personnel office for details or reach out to Katie Tressel at ktressel@ap.school for assistance.
Paduan Points
Families earn 5 Paduan Points for contributing to the Fund for St. Anthony!
Dolphin Donor Week
Dolphin Donor Week (November 4-8) is a special time to support the Fund for St. Anthony. Many families give during this week to take advantage of matching gift opportunities, but you can give at any time that’s convenient for you!
