Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

This week, two important communications went out. Firstly, we are grateful to Deputy Shaw for his service to our school and we are excited about the comprehensive and cost-effective security coverage that will be provided for us through the Houston Police Department. Also, this year’s Gratitude Report was sent. Our Advancement efforts, led by Mrs. Katie Tressel, broke all previous records. Please take the time to look this over. Your incredible generosity allows us to expand programming and other services for our students. I am so humbled and so grateful.

This upcoming Monday, September 30th, the parish welcomes Matt Maher! How exciting to have this leader in Catholic Christian music in our school gym! The setup for a concert of this magnitude is complicated. The gym will be in “prep mode” all day. After lunch, the Fellowship Hall and Paduan Center will also be transformed. For these reasons, all after-school campus programming has been canceled (except football practice). We are also unable to offer Beyond the Bell. Consequently, we must adjust our usual dismissal process. We will dismiss from classrooms as was done on the first day of school. Please bring your carline tag and go directly to your student’s classroom for dismissal on Monday.

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker
