Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

This has been a Spirit Week for the books! 😊

On Monday, we inducted 33 students into the St. Anthony of Padua Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. We are so proud of these students who have excelled academically while also upholding the values we hold dear. Special congratulations to our officers: President Lindsey Twellman, Vice President Luke Toma and Secretary Aria Basford!

Tuesday, thanks to everyone who joined us for our Smart Families Parent presentation. I hope your eyes were opened to the impact of technology on the executive functioning skills of our students – and ourselves. I also hope you were able to take away some tools to help you navigate the world of technology in your homes.

After school on Wednesday, we had a bang-up Homecoming with food, fun, alumni, games, inflatables, junior cheerleaders, the choir… and football! This has become a favorite St. Anthony tradition. Thanks to everyone for attending. Special thanks to Mrs. Heather Koett, Mrs. Katie Tressel and Mrs. Leigh Moorman and all our faculty and staff for the extra effort and hours that made this such a success. And to Coach Wallace for leading our Football Dolphins to a big victory over St. Anne – Tomball!

All of this, plus volleyball games, cross country, soccer games and more! I hope to see many of you at the Mother/Son Dance tomorrow evening in the gym!

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker

SMART FAMILIES

SMART FAMILIES IN ACTION

One of our Smart Families principals recently shared:

“This program really works. One of my teachers passed along Smart Families resources to a friend at another school. The parents removed electronics for a month, and their son is totally different—more focused and doing so much better in school!”

Stories like these show that Smart Families doesn’t just impact our students here at St. Anthony—it inspires positive change in the wider community.
