THE REVITALIZER

October 2026

How can YOU help the homeowner crisis?

“How can YOU help?”

“How can YOUR company make a difference?”

“We want to help our neighbors, but we don’t know where to start.”

“None of us are construction experts. Can we really make an impact?”

My answer is always the same: YES. You absolutely can.

That is why we created The Revitalize Project to make it easier for businesses, organizations and individuals to step forward and help a homeowner who needs a hand.

You don’t have to be a contractor.

You don’t have to know how to swing a hammer.

And you don’t have to figure out the logistics.

You just have to decide that one home matters. You Bring the People. We Bring the Plan. For companies that want a hands-on experience, Revitalize makes the process turnkey. You choose a service date that works for your team. We identify a neighborhood and a homeowner whose needs align with your project. That homeowner may be a low-income senior, veteran or person living with a disability.

Looking for an alternative way to help? You Fund It. We Fix It.

Maybe your company wants to make an impact, but getting a team of employees together for a service day isn’t realistic. You Fund It, We Fix It is one of the easiest ways to make a direct, meaningful impact. You provide the funding. Revitalize provides everything else.

You don't have to organize a volunteer crew. You don't have to manage contractors. You don't have to figure out what needs to be done. You make the investment and we turn that investment into a safer home.

And you don't have to wonder where your dollars went. Your company receives the homeowner story, project updates and before-and-after photos so you can see the transformation your support made possible. You also receive recognition for helping make the project happen. You Fund It. We Fix It. A Homeowner Wins. It is a simple idea with a powerful outcome.

One home. One homeowner. One community at a time.

With gratitude,

Melanie Roach, CEO

Revitalize Milwaukee, in collaboration with MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary, developed a program that provided training to families to keep their homes safe from lead paint hazards and asthma triggers. Families who participated received a HEPA vacuum and a lead test kit.

“The MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary (MBHS) community has deep gratitude to Revitalize Milwaukee for prioritizing support for the well-being of children in the 53206 zip code. Their extraordinary contribution: 50 HEPA vacuum cleaners donated to our dynamic program offering lead awareness, advocacy and testing. Thanks to this donation we are distributing these deep-cleaning vacuums to families for whom the ominous presence of lead has been a losing battle, which will now be reversed. Children of recipient families with lead in their environments will no longer be doomed to worsening health challenges. Effective action in addressing the lead issue has floundered in our City in the past, however this gift was “Spot on.” The MBHS organization acknowledges Revitalize Milwaukee for having its name credibly as its mission statement. We are energized about this collaboration continuing.”
