Some Good News!
I hope you and yours are healthy, safe and finding some comfort as we all come together while being apart to get on the other side of this virus.
On my walks with the dogs, I always find comfort in seeing a neighborhood local and viewing with my own eyes that they are doing okay. Although the smiles are now replaced with nods as our faces are covered, it really is nice to still connect on some level.
I ran into Brando's mom this morning and the only distance discussion we all have is, "How are you? Everything okay?" It is sincere, hopeful and kind - and I am again reminded how much I love NYC!
I have fallen in love with
Some Good News
with John Krasinski which airs on YouTube. It is simple and perfect in the way he celebrates good news around the world during this time.
I have decided that I am going to take his lead, and make this month all about some good news that is happening all around the country. I hope it brings a smile to your face and confirms that the human sprit is strong.
All my best to you and yours and now ... for SOME GOOD NEWS!

“We are all going through an incredibly trying time, but, through all the anxiety, through all the confusion, all the isolation, and all the Tiger King, somehow the human spirit found a way to break through and blow us all away,” Krasinski opened his show.

Barking Up The Right Tree
Before the Coronavirus, Tonka the Great Dane was a regular visitor at the Cedar Pointe Health and Wellness Suites located in Cedar Park, Texas. Because of the virus, the senior center had to start limiting visitors, including their favorite canine companion Tonka.
Armed with a sign that read “We miss you,” Tonka and Courtney Leigh, his owner, visited multiple seniors through their windows. Courtney Leigh spoke to ABC News, "They were smiling from ear to ear. Some reached out to touch the window."

Anxiety? Who Me?
Well we have been with our dads for over 50 days now and almost 24/7. They never leave! But we love having them around - it may be a bit hard for us when they actually do leave again for the day. There may be a bit of anxiety when that happens. I am guessing a lot of my furry friends will be feeling the same way.
Does your furry friend get nervous when he sees you getting ready to leave the house? Does she go bonkers with joy when you come home? Did he destroy your shoes, claw the door, or chew the corner off an end table while you were gone? Your buddy could have separation anxiety.
