4 Ways to Give This #UAGivingTuesday

Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday promotions seem to push us to think about Christmas shopping even before the turkey hits the table on Thanksgiving. But, what if we celebrated Christmas by showing the generous love of Christ instead?

This Giving Tuesday on November 27, we’re inviting you to join Urban Alliance in a global giving movement that will make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in the Greater Hartford community.

Here’s how:

  • Become a UAGive Champion. Make a monthly gift of at least $40 for a year and you’ll be consistently creating waves of change by contributing to Urban Alliance’s work to strengthen programs that are helping people achieve lasting change in their lives. As a UAGive Champion, you’ll enjoy special perks and updates, too.

  • Start a Facebook fundraiser. Facebook and PayPal are teaming up to match up to $7 million of donations made to charities through Facebook fundraisers. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps!

  • Share about our impact. There's no need for you to keep all of this community impact goodness to yourself, right?!

Questions? Contact Jaleith Gary , UA's Director of Philanthropy.
